DMD KickOff Week: Day 1 - Topic Introductory Presentations
Each Digital Media Design Lecturer spoke for approximately 10 minutes each about the metaphor crystals. Sandra brought in crystals and spoke about their healing properties Mike spoke about robots and their involvement with crystals Dionysia spoke about crystals and gender (Feminism) Ian spoke about audio and crystal voices Ivan spoke about poems and crystals Julian presenting (Willcock, 2018) Afterwar ds we were given our groups which included a level 4, level 5, level 6 student and two international students. We thought of idea's and problems that can be solved using the crystal metaphor for our KickOff Week projects. Our idea Based around teenagers and their need for choice and originality in clothing and fashion. So we proposed an online store on a mobile app (or website) that enabled teenagers to be able to customise clothes, shoes, and accessories from their colour, size, motif, laces, sole etc. that they can purchase through our app/website.
