Ocado Live Brief: Storyboarding & Discussion

Anja decided to start working on our storyboard. While drawing he noticed some adjustments that could be made to our storyboard that would mean that our concept could still be delivered in the same way but by using less frames making our animation smoother. We decided against making our motion graphic complex and opted for a minimalistic style as we want to get our message across clearly. Once completed he sent the storyboard to me so that we could discuss it further and to make sure we were still meeting the brief requirements. Our discussion about the storyboard

Ocado Live Brief: Finalising Concept & Structuring Storyboard

After brainstorming our ideas on Slack, we came up loosely with a concept. On Monday, we discussed this concept with Mikki and were given feedback. She liked our idea and found it cute, she mentioned that we needed to ensure that our motion graphic doesn't exceed 20 seconds as our concept was quite detailed. She explained that this was positive rather than a negative because it is easier to shorten a bigger idea than trying to expand on a smaller idea. She suggested that our next step was to create a storyboard to help us finalise our concept. This was helpful as we had a rough idea of what we wanted to include in our motion graphic however we hadn't properly structured our concept. On Tuesday, Anja and I discussed our concept at great length and visually finalised our concept.
