[Part 2] Final Blog Post - Overall Evaluation Report (4CTA1214)

I decided to create an interactive poster based on a space theme because I wanted my museum to show objects that were futuristic and therefore continued with the idea that in the future the Earth had become so polluted that it had become uninhabitable - therefore the objects in the Science museum had to be moved on board a spaceship while humans find a new planet to live on. My poster has a cartoon style that I aimed to attract the attention of a younger audience but at the same time is mature enough to be liked by an older audience. In my poster I have only used minimal text as I believe this is more suitable than writing long paragraphs - as it could loose the audiences attention. Overall, I believe my project turned out really well considering the time frame that was tasked. My planning went well and lead me to decide my final idea quickly - meaning that I could start my project immediately. This project was definitely enjoyable, I especially enjoyed being able to experiment and

The list of graphics below that I drew using adobe illustrator are the assets used in my final project. Spaceship that flies across the Start page introducing the first scene. When hovering over the spaceship this version of the ship is displayed telling the audience to click on the spaceship to see the next scene if they wish to enter the museum. Flames that make up the flame animation that comes out the spaceships exhaust. Flame 1 Flame 2 Flame 3 Flame 4 Image of Earth used in the background of the first scene. Arrow used as button subconsciously explaining to the user how to get to the next scene. Overlay arrow showing the words 'NEXT' telling the user that in order to view the next scene the arrow needs to pressed. Astronaut tour guide who explains the history of the spaceship, museum and objects on board the ship. The spaceman on the hoverboard is an asset used in the minigame created and used in my final fla

[Part 2] Mood Boards, Typography & Colour Development (4CTA1214)

Below is my Pinterest mood board created to give me inspiration and ideas for my final project. Typography After testing many different fonts, I decided to consistently use the font named: OCR A std as I believed it looked futuristic and mechanical without looking tacky. This font resembled the font used on a calculator and therefore I thought it was suitable as it worked with my design. Colour Development I mainly used blues and purples in my design and final project to represent a space theme (Night sky).

[Part 2] Design Experimentation (4CTA1214)

Design Experimentation My first idea was based on the Earth being polluted and that the whole population are trying to find a new planet to live on. The purpose of the spaceship was to salvage some of the museum's objects so that they aren't left behind on an uninhabitable planet with no one left to see them. After developing this idea, this was used as my final project. My second idea was based on a pirate theme where intergalactic pirates have stolen the newest futuristic objects from the Science/Technology museum. My third idea involves the user using a computer to access the museum digitally. In the future, I imagined that things such as museums are all uploaded onto a master web where anyone can access them at any time. When the user moves the real mouse, the mouse on the screen would move. My fourth idea involves using the tube to view the different museum objects by visiting stations on the tube map. As the science museum is based in London
