Independent Learning Journey - Enterprise Meeting: Freelancing
I attended an Enterprise meeting regarding freelancing as I had received some work through the contact form on my portfolio site. I wanted to gain a second opinion on whether the potential client was legitimate or not as there were a few red flags. The client wanted me to produce a simple website to display the sports wear products he sold as part of his business. Andre advised me that it did seem strange but to continue making an arrangement in case he was genuine. On this journey, I have learnt about making a briefs, contracts and invoices which is useful for my freelancing career. I received my fourth stamp for attending this meeting.
