The current highest market shareholder Tesco, offer online shopping to customers.

A delivery fee is included and varies depending on the date and time of the delivery slot.
From 08:00 - 12:00, the highest charge this week is £7.00 while the lowest charge is £3.00 if you want your order delivered within a one hour slot.
Alternatively, you can choose a flexi slot for your order to be delivered by. From 08:00 - 12:00, the highest charge this week is £4.00 while the lowest charge is £1.50.
If your order is under £40, a minimum basket charge of £4.00 is added to your bill.
For your delivery to include carrier bags an additional fee of 40p per order is included.

However Tesco do offer a delivery Saver which can be useful to customers who online shop frequently at Tesco. 




At Tescos, as long as you spend a minimum of £40, you will not be charged a £4.00 basket fee.

Same-Day
Free delivery any day and same-day, 7 days a week for:
  • 6 Months = £59.94 (£9.99/month)
  • 1 Month = £12.99 (£12.99/month)

Any Day
Free delivery any day except same-day (£2 per order), 7 days a week for:
  • 6 Months = £41.94 (£6.99/month)
  • 1 Month = £7.99 (£7.99/month)
Midweek
Delivery anytime only on Tuesday, Wednesday and/or Thursday for:
  • 6 Months  = £20.94 (£3.49/month)
  • 1 Month = £3.99 (£3.99/month)

I specifically wanted my logo to be an SG as these are my initials. Therefore I attempted to a few different designs until I found the one that I liked. For this post, I have put my logos on blackgrounds so that they are visible. Bootstrap Template

I decided to use a bootstrap template for my website as I thought this may have made elements faster to implement as the template would already be responsive. I researched the benefits of using bootstrap and according to Christopher Gimmer in his 2014 blog 'Top 5 Reasons to use Bootstrap', he stated in his conclusion that, "...there are several benefits to using Bootstrap. The framework allows for rapid, responsive development that is consistent and well supported by the development and design community." His five reasons were, "Speed of Development, Responsiveness, Consistency, Customizable, Support" which I understand and agree with and therefore believe it is beneficial to use bootstrap in this project.
